Shoplifter arrested

January 10, 2023: On Monday, a perpetrator stole from a local supermarket in Crown Heights. A police report was filed, and Shmira was notified.
The following morning, a member of Shmira who was on patrol located the suspect and recognized him from previous encounters. Shmira was then able to facilitate his arrest by the NYPD. The suspect was apprehended outside of 770 Eastern Parkway.
