Hammer Wielding Thug on Kingston Ave

Wednesday, December 17, 2014 approximately 2:00PM: Shmira members responded to a scene on Kingston Avenue near President Street where a male black, who bystanders overheard yelling anti-Semitic slurs, took a hammer out of his car and smashed the window of a parked car. The perpetrator claimed that the owner of the vehicle had thrown an onion at his car and therefore felt justified in his actions. Police soon arrived and after questioning the perpetrator, he readily admitted to the crime, and was placed under arrest. He is being charged with criminal mischief.
