Sukkos Thief Arrested

Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 12:29AM: The Crown Heights Shmira hotline received a phone call from a bystander who witnessed a male black entering the backyard of a building on Union Street between Schenectady and Utica, and exiting with a folding table. Shmira members responded to the scene, located the owner of the stolen property and immediately began a canvass of the area to try and locate the thief. After a short search the thief was spotted on Eastern Parkway between Schenectady and Utica Avenues. Shmira members detained the suspect until police arrived and the thief was placed under arrest.
