Crown Heights ‘Knockout Game’

August 17, 2014 Filed under Shmira News

Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 11:45PM: Three male blacks are seen punching a Hasidic teenager in what appears to be a “knockout game” attack. The incident occurred on Albany Avenue near Union Street in Crown Heights. NYPD Hate crime Task Force is currently investigating the incident. No arrests have been made at the time of publication.

This is one of a string of incidents that have occurred in the past few days. One such attack occurred on Thursday, August 14 at 4:00PM. A 9 year old boy was riding his bike on President Street near Troy Avenue when a group of 4 teenagers approached him and one of them punched him in the head.

In both incidents there was no attempt to rob the victims nor was there any kind of confrontation involved. It was a spontaneous violent act, charged with nothing but hate for the victim.

ATTENTION: Please be aware of your surroundings when walking around. Don’t listen to music or be overly occupied with you phone. If you see a suspicious person or group of people up ahead, it may be preferable to cross the street.
