SHMIRA MEMBER THWARTS ASSAULT/ROBBERY

Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at approximately 7:00 PM A Crown Heights Shmira member was on the way home from work when he noticed a struggle transpiring inside a pawn shop on Flatbush Avenue between Winthrop and Hawthorn Streets. ‎​2 arrested for attacking teenager

Sunday – February 6, 2011 at approximately 9:30pm: A teenage boy was walking on Albany Avenue near Eastern Parkway when two female blacks threw a glass bottle at him. The bottle landed a mere few inches from him. Two passersby, shocked at what they just witnessed, approached the pair and asked them what they were doing. One of the Perpetrators pulled out what appeared to be a knife and threatened the witnesses telling them to stay out of it. The witnesses called the Shmira hot-line as well as 911 and proceeded to follow the perpetrators toward Troy Avenue.
