Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at approximately 7:00 PM A Crown Heights Shmira member was on the way home from work when he noticed a struggle transpiring inside a pawn shop on Flatbush Avenue between Winthrop and Hawthorn Streets. Tuesday, October 14, 2014 approximately 7:30PM: A male black was riding a bike on East New York Avenue between Kingston and Brooklyn Avenues when he punched a young girl in the face knocking her over. There was no attempted robbery, only an unprovoked act of hate against a stranger. Shmira members responded and canvassed the area with the victim for a while but the perpetrator had fled the area. The victim filed a police report. Read more

Thursday, August 07, 2014 at 5:54PM The Shmira hot line received a call about a woman that was assaulted. The woman had been walking on Eastern Parkway near Rogers Avenue when a group of six females approached her and one of them punched her in the face while screaming anti-Semitic slurs. Read more

Tuesday April 20th 2010 at approximately 1:40 pm Shmira received a call that a Bochur was punched in the face by a fleeing shoplifter on Union street between Kingston and Brooklyn Shmira members responded to the scene within 2 minutes and were pointed in the direction to which the perpetrator fled, but he managed to disappear on President St. between Brooklyn and New York.
